Can I just say how thrilled I am to be back on-air after a couple of years away from radio?
My journey in this amazing business began years ago after touring a radio station that was housed on the top floor of my grandmother’s apartment complex in Colorado Springs. I was visiting during my summer vacation and have been in love with radio and television broadcasting ever since.
As an “army brat” and military spouse, I’ve had the privilege to live in Kansas, Alabama, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, Washington and Germany. My Mississippi roots run deep with ties to Tishomingo County since the 1800’s, where my annual family reunion still takes place in May.
I’m proud to call central Mississippi home for the last 25 years. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our 3 children and grandchildren. We like boating on the Rez, hiking, traveling in our rv, biking, working out and eating! I’m kind of a nerd when it comes to food. I LOVE checking out cookbooks from the library just to leaf through them or to try a new recipe. I could also spend hours watching cooking videos!
Being on-air with you is such a blessing. I’m returning to the radio company that brought me to Jackson in the first place. Talk about a full circle moment!
